Absolutely gorgeous start to the last day of the year!! Weather is going to be beautiful with a high of 60! Couldn't ask for a better day to plunge head to toe into the Atlantic Ocean. Hurricane Dorian is gone but she didn't leave without throwing back all those sunglasses, goggles and trash lost this summer! Shout out to the Recreation Team for picking up all the trash to make our beach beautiful again!! To top it off the nature center has a new baby turtle "Dorian" who was able to ride out the storm. Just a friendly reminder while you are all finding amazing shells the next few weeks. Remember to bring a bag for trash.

Ceramics has been a family tradition for a lot of our guests for years. Come join in on the fun and take home a memory. Class is held Monday through Friday at 9:15am and 12:15pm (except on Wednesday). Each class is limited to 70 painters so be sure to arrive early. All ages welcome but children 12 and under need to be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $1.50 plus the cost of the ceramic piece you chose to paint ranging from $1 to $40. See you there!

Looking for something fun for your potty trained 4-11 year olds? Kids kamp runs Monday through Friday 9am -12pm. The cost is $10 a day or $40 for the week. There are only 25 spots each day so be sure to sign up in advance. Your children are guaranteed to have a blast!!
