Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) Holiday Sands North “On the Boardwalk”
We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role by performing various maintenance tasks. Reliability and a strong work ethic combined with great communication skills are a must.
The position is a full-time (40-48 hours per week), year-round position and weekends and holidays are required (NOT NEGOTIABLE).

What will I be doing?
As a Maintenance Technician, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
1 - Maintain general units, common areas, pool/pool areas and grounds as required
2 - Competencies in plumbing, electric and HVAC repairs
3 - Perform preventative maintenance of all aspects of units, common areas and grounds as required
4- Perform plumbing maintenance and repairs such as pipes, drains, faucets, disposals, showers and whirlpool bath tubs
5 - Reset/replace breakers, ballast and other electrical fixtures including switches and sockets; prevent and trouble shoot possible electric hazards
6 - Working knowledge of appliances
7 - Repair interior walls, wall coverings and ceilings by patching drywall, replacing wood or wall coverings or texture and painting
Requirements:
1 - High School diploma or equivalent
2 - 1 to 2 years technical training or equivalent maintenance technician experience
3 - 1 to 2 years painting experience
4 - CPO Certification preferred
5 - Able to lift/carry supplies or equipment of 50 lbs. or more with frequent reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling
6 - Extensive walking and standing
7 - Manual dexterity and mobility required
8 - Competent skills regarding the operation of small hand and electrical tools, basic electrical, carpentry, painting and small machinery repair
9 - Excellent communication skills
10 - Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
11 - Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with guests and staff members
