Good News! They started the reconstruction of Springmaid Pier after it was destroyed by Hurricane Matthew. Springmaid Pier is a short walk south of Ocean Blue 803.

A portion of the Myrtle Beach State Park fishing pier closed earlier this month, but the entire pier is expected to be shut down for repairs through September.
