Myrtle’s Market returns Wednesday, May 20, with fresh produce, fruit and more from our local farmers and craftspeople. The market has been closed this spring because of COVID-19, but is ready to reopen – keeping social distancing in mind! Wearing a mask is encouraged, and we will disinfect daily. The farmers’ market is at the corner of Mr. Joe White Avenue and Oak Street. Regular hours are 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Welcome back, Myrtle’s Market!

The 31st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival and Parade will be held on Main Street on Saturday, March 16, 2019. This one-day, rain or shine event brings approximately 30,000 to celebrate being Irish and welcome the coming of spring. A parade begins the day at 9:00 a.m., followed by three stages of live music and a children’s area with rides and amusements from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Along Main Street approximately 150 vendors will display their crafts, services, information, products, or serve a variety of treats.

We have created a club to enjoy the hobby of American classic cars and trucks and socialization with others that enjoy this hobby as well. Our main focus is to have fun with the classic car hobby, and help our communities while doing so.
