AMENITIES UPDATE SINCE POSTING:

Open: We plan to rent Golf Cars (with potential restrictions), Meet n’ Eat, and Sandy Mart.
Closed Under Executive Order: All pools will be closed at least until May 13.
Also Closed: Sandy’s Game Center (arcade), oceanfront recreation (playgrounds, basketball, etc.), Recreation Center will be closed. All activities cancelled until further notice.

Like we stated in our last communication, these guidelines may change at any moment based on restrictions from Horry County or the State of South Carolina.

ANNOUNCEMENT - PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE POST:

Good News! Ocean Lakes is open to guests (camping and rentals) arriving on May 1 or later. We MUST EXCLUDE anyone from NY, NJ, CT (per the State of SC Executive Order 2020-29 based on CDC travel advisories) before May 13 (or unless its extended by the Governor or Horry County). Please see warning below. Like we stated in our last communication, these guidelines may change at any moment based on restrictions from Horry County or the State of South Carolina.

Ocean Lakes is now taking NEW reservations starting with the arrival date of May 1 or later (currently, you must call to make a reservation for the month of May, you can only book online arriving June 1 or later).

WARNING: Please understand it is against SC State Law to allow guests from NY, NJ or CT. Please DO NOT play games. We WILL CHECK car tags and your Driver's License. Please work with us, we are trying to work with you as honestly and transparent as possible while abiding by the Governor’s Orders. We are doing all that we can for the safety and well-being of our teammates, guests and our community. ALSO, we implore you to abide by physical distancing and all CDC guidelines for the safety of everyone. DO NOT congregate in groups of more than 3 (groups of family members are acceptable).

AMENITIES: We DO NOT know yet what amenities will be open. We plan to rent golf cars, with potential restrictions. Our goal is the safety and well-being of all and to abide by the CDC guidelines. We have read today’s Executive Order and also spoke with the Governor’s Office and we are happy to finally OPEN. It may be that you are only able to camp or rent and go to the beach. If you do not feel that is a value, you can cancel your reservation in May for a FULL refund.
