At Mystic River Inn, we’re happy to offer pet-friendly accommodations in our beautiful Mariner’s Suite #103.

To help maintain a pristine, allergen-conscious environment for all guests, pets are limited to this designated suite, while service animals are always welcome throughout the Inn. If you’ll be traveling with a service animal, we kindly ask for advance notice at the time of booking so our housekeeping team can prepare accordingly for future guests.

Before it became the Mystic River Inn, this building was home to Grover Insurance, a longtime piece of Mystic history. In business since 1932, Grover Insurance was a pillar of the community as one of the longest running businesses in Mystic, uniquely under one owner.

Today, its next chapter blends restored character, updated comforts, and a renewed connection to downtown Mystic. From preserving original details to thoughtfully refreshing the space for today’s guests, the transformation has been a labor of appreciation for the building and the community around it.
