Day 7 at Whalebone Villa. Jon and I drove up to Duck and Corolla and saw the Currituck lighthouse. Then had lunch and shopped along the waterfront in Duck. Had dinner with the kiddos and then Jon and I hung out with Dana and Eric at Lost Colony Brewery in Nags Head. Schooner loves the little waterfront at Lost Colony! A rainy but fun last day of our trip!

Day six at Whalebone Villa (Jon arrived Wed night!). We started out with breakfast at Sam and Omies, then a walk on the pier. Drove down to the Bodie Island lighthouse and then dinner at Sugar Shack (yum)! Capped off the evening with a dip in the hot tub and a sunset from the roof! Fun day!!!

Today started with Eric, Dana and Ian fishing off Jennette’s Pier, then the kids and I went to the Aquarium on Roanoke Island. Yesterday Eric and Dana visited the Wright Brothers Memorial. A fun day for all!

Day Four at Whalebone Villa. Drove down the road a bit and saw the Hatteras Light House, then on down to the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum. We ate lunch at a GREAT pizza restaurant called Angelo’s in Buxton - Highly Recommend! Then back home for some pool time, a great supper and then some hot tub relaxation! Love it here :)

Day Six at Whalebone Pierview was just pure heaven. From the Duck donuts to quiet times on the balcony to walks on the beach and dips in the pool, today was a perfect end to the week. We leave tomorrow. But stay tuned because while we were here we also decorated the condo so I’ll post some pics later in the weekend. Waiting to make pics just before we leave.

Day 5 at Whalebone Pierview. We went on a wild horse tour in Corolla with Corolla Outback Adventures. Amazing to see these Spanish Mustangs who roam freely. They originally came to the island when Spanish ships wrecked over 500 years ago. So fun! Video to follow.
