I'm reluctant to heap too much praise on Two Fish Cottage because it's such an absolute gem and I worry it'll get too popular and we'll never be able to book it again. Perfect Airbnb experience. Two Fish is literal steps to the beach. We were a family of four, and it easily could have fit another family + more. The cottage had everything we needed for amazing, stress-free week. The outdoor shower is a huge plus -- I don't think we bathed indoors all week. The beach was unreal too -- quiet, serene, uncrowded. Can't wait to come back!

Western North Carolina has been decimated and the people there are suffering!
If you are at a loss of how to help and are considering donating to the relief efforts, a Very Well Trusted source has suggested contacting Samaritans Purse in Boone, NC. He mentioned that every dollar donated will go towards helping someone. Please help if you can or haven’t already done so.

"We loved two fish for our family of 4. Our toddlers had a ball playing in the sand under the porch every evening. We loved that the house was one story. Made it much easier with two young children. House was well organized and clean and only steps to the beach. You can hear the waves from the deck and see the ocean. It wasn’t as crowded as Nags head/Kill Devil Hills. It was more like staying in Salvo, but still close to everything the northern villages have to offer. I would highly recommend Two Fish to anyone with children or a small group. Jeff and Ann were friendly and quick to respond to my messages. We plan on staying here again in the future."
