At the April luncheon, we had chicken Alfredo. Our guest speaker was Kevin Miller from the city of Napa waste management system. This man had to be an engineer, a businessman and environmental scientist to do what he did and is doing. We introduced a new member, whose picture is also below his name is Alan Johnson. The new activity of Coed bocce ball was announced. I believe it’s the second and fourth Thursday at the senior center at 1:30. .

At the last meeting, our guests were Carl Moyar and Brion beetz sharing about the incredible fishing committee they run for SIR. A past member rejoined and that Joe Nelson DDS. It is with great sadness that I need to inform you that Sir Dr. Mike Quinn recently passed away after a short illness. Mike was 87.

There will be a memorial service for Mike at a later time at St. John's Lutheran Church.

Mike (affectionally known as Mighty Q) joined Sir 149 in 2024. He will be missed.

We offer our condolences to his wife, Patty, and family members.

Rest In Peace Mike.

The food, bank and meals on wheels organization),  and Maureen kaberoni of Share the Care which handles shared medical devices, like wheelchairs, and feed it forward representative Margaret Perry, which collects and shares fresh produce from restaurants, and from the abundance of people’s gardens and fruit trees.  They will come and even glean your tree and leftovers from vegetable garden.  Also pictured is Mike Forma who received a doing my part pin for helping keeping our website functional and training our web Director Adrian Fenderson.
