Just down the street from Belmont & Vanderbilt and a couple miles from downtown. The Carriage House boasts brand new construction with vaulted ceilings, a fully-equipped kitchen, and cozy bedroom and living areas. It's perfect for business travelers, couples, and solo adventurers alike.

A new way to experience Nashville just cruised into town!

We loved hopping on a Nashville Riverboats sightseeing cruise this week! The boat is gorgeous, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the experience is fun for the whole family!

We grabbed a porch swing on an upper level deck and some yummy snacks-for-purchase and watched the river roll by to the sounds of live music and narration from Jimbo, the incredibly knowledgeable tour guide! Even as residents, there was so much about Nashville that we didn’t know!

They offer multiple sightseeing tours daily as well as dinner cruises and they have a some exciting new additions coming soon including a brunch tour and as well as adding a second, steam powered boat to their fleet, and if your group has accessibility concerns, they have a lift on board to get you from deck to deck! The dining rooms are air conditioned if you need to beat the heat and yes…there are restrooms!

🎟️ Tickets start at $39.95 for adults and $29.95 for kiddos for sightseeing cruises and $79.95 for adults and $49.95 for kiddos. (Infants are free)

When we refreshed the interior of The 12 South Carriage House I wanted to keep the general vibe but bring in some fresh new pieces to make the space feel current. One of my favorite swaps was this living room centerpiece light fixture! (Swipe for the “after” photos!)

Ben at caught our vision and helped us bring new life to our space by adding finish carpentry touches, replacing plumbing & lighting fixtures and a million other things that make the space polished and functional. He was patient and kind as I considered options and said things like “hmmmm…maybe half an inch higher.” 🤣 He is a detail guy who takes pride in his work.

As we move towards our 10th Anniversary this coming October, we’ve been quietly working away over here on our most exciting project since we first opened our doors. We’re not quite ready to share all the big news yet, but we didn’t want another second to go by without giving a huge shout-out to Ben (and Dylan!) of

Besides the time and hard work they have put in, they have also put so much heart and detail into seeing the space through the eyes of both an owner and a guest. We couldn’t be more grateful for what they have brought to a huge project!
