Introducing the Lovell suite. A little Western flair, an iconic bathroom, and a king bed with a goose-feathered down comforter. She’s a little wild, spacious, grounding, and just the spot to wind down after a night out.

This room is named for Frank Lovell, an early Nashville businessman who helped shape the city’s commercial growth in the late 1800s. He operated what is believed to be West Nashville’s first grocery store and later served as president of the Bank of West Nashville, investing in local real estate and infrastructure. Lovell and his family lived just blocks away at the corner of Fiftieth and Elkins Avenue, closely tying his legacy to the Sylvan Park community.

How lucky are we to live right behind Tantísimo?💃🏻 From dinner plans to dancing… the food, cocktails, atmosphere and people are simply amazing. Is it just us or is Sylvan Park is quietly evolving into one of the most desirable foodie neighborhoods in Nashville? And PS, happy hour at Tantísimo starts at 4pm!

Meet the heart and soul of our historic inn, Lisa! If you’ve been by recently, you’ve likely already felt the incredible warmth, hospitality, and bright energy she brings to our space.
A true native Nashvillian, Lisa recently returned home after spending two years traveling the world, bringing a rich perspective and an even bigger heart back to Sylvan Park. She is a creative spirit through and through, a remarkably talented writer and photographer, and the proud mom of two adult kids. When she’s not making our Nashville guests feel right at home in the neighborhood, you’ll find her soaking up the outdoors (and yes, she genuinely enjoys pulling weeds and tending to our green spaces!).

We are so lucky to have her leading the team here at the boarding house!
