🍀The first sunset of March did not disappoint. 🌅

Dinner with Dad at Magnolia Grill on Silver Street, sharing a seafood platter and wonderful conversation — all while enjoying views of the mightiest river from the oldest city with the highest bluff in the best country in the world. 🇺🇸

There’s something magical about Natchez sunsets. The sky turns gold, the bridge silhouettes against the water, and for a few minutes everything feels right in the world. 😊💖

Grateful for evenings like this.
Grateful for time with Dad.
Grateful to call this place home.

✨ A Redecorating Sneak Peek at Beaumont House ✨

We’re excited to share that the next phase of our refresh is underway! After working with a wonderful local designer, Tracy McCartney, and exploring countless patterns, we’ve chosen this beautiful red toile for our upstairs hallway and staircase.

We also removed the old wall-to-wall carpet from the historic steps. They’re looking a bit rough right now, but we can’t wait to uncover the cypress wood we believe is hiding underneath—Andrew Brown used cypress throughout the house, so we’re hopeful the stairs will match.

🐾 Does This Handsome Fella Belong to Someone? 🐾
Located near 815 Main Street - Beaumont House in Natchez -

This friendly (and very charming!) gray male cat has been hanging around our porch for the last few days. He’s not neutered, has a curved right ear, and seems very comfortable around people. He’s been enjoying porch time and even sharing meals with our resident cat, Little Bill. 😊

Our weekend guests absolutely adored him (see their photos below* 😍) — so we wanted to check and see if he has a home nearby before we take next steps.

💙 If we don’t find his family soon, we plan to have him neutered and continue to care for him here — he’s a sweetheart and clearly used to being around folks.
