We had a few people from England stop at the Welcome Center this weekend. They were in Natchitoches to enjoy the Meat Pie Festival and for the Film Trail. They had been here before-5 years ago and made sure they came back. They were so happy to be here hanging out with a few movie stars.

Festival Day here in Natchitoches did not disappoint. A full day of activities. Starting off with a hot delicious breakfast along with mimosas to toast Festival Day at the bnb. The Christmas Parade was so fun with guests, family and friends as we tailgated on Jefferson St. watching the parade go right by us! We had a great group at the bnb this weekend who explored our Front Street, rode the Cane River Queen Paddle Boat and all enjoyed the Parade and the awesome fireworks. Strolled down the Riverwalk viewing the beautiful Christmas Lights display along the Cane River and Historic District. To our 1st time guests welcome to the Good House Family. Good Morning, here are our first pictures of the bnb decorated for Christmas. Some are during the day and some night time. More interior photos coming soon. Our first guests arrive on Friday for the "Turn on the Lights Ceremony". A full and fun weekend 💕

Good House Family, it's definitely starting to look like Christmas here at the B&B! The lights went up on the house last week and decorating started on Monday. A big thank you to our staff Diane, Nora, Melanie and Mr. Henry who worked hard right along with us. We even had a previous staff member, Tonia come and help. As always my husband Ken is so supportive and always has my back. This is a labor of love and we all worked hard but had allot of fun. As a cajun girl from Southern La. you always find a way to celebrate. So we made it into a Decorating Party and I served lunch for us to celebrate the upcoming holidays and a thank you to the Elves. 🙂 I served chicken and sausage gumbo, potato salad with spiced cinnamon muffins Kenn baked for dessert. Here are a few pictures. More pictures will come out soon when we complete the decorating. Enjoy the pictures. 💕🎅🇺🇲❤️
