Jarnagin's Landing is a privately owned camp located on Clear Lake in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. Johnny Vail and was known as "Vail's Camp" was later purchased by Mr. Ferrell Jarnagin and Mrs Thelma Vail Jarnagin. Jarnagin's Landing features a concrete boat ramp and overnight camping. Launches: Boats, ATV's, Canoes $5.00 each. Overnight camping and parking $15.00 per night per vehicle. Curren

tly there are no facilities, electrical, water of sewer hookups. Any unauthorized vehicles or persons will be removed from the property. Alcohol and is not permitted on the premises. Littering and or any violations of will result in ejection of violators without refund.

Effective June 1st. 2023, Jarnagin's Landing is permanently closed to the public. Camping is by appointment only and restricted to close personal friends and family of the late Ferrell and Thelma Vail Jarnagin.

Jarnagin's Landing (aka Vail's Camp) has for many decades been open for boat launches and camping, however, the completion of the new public boat launch adjacent to Jarnagin's landing now allows for free public use.

Family and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Jarnagin may gain access by contacting Bryan Price, Tuesday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at 318-628-6921.

Trespassing or abuse of the property will not be tolerated and violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
