I'm giving up on the 14 yr old Morgan mare I've been leasing. She is wonderful, great ride, loves people AND she will not be nice to the other horses and Hal is stressed from being bothered constantly! She would be great by herself or with one other horse. Her owner wants to find a forever home, price is right! Please let me know if you want more info or if you know a 4Her looking for a great mare!

For those of you who know me...I was a huge complaint and argument against the need to wear helmets'? At that time I had lived and rode for 40 years without them and I've been fine!!! Then about 15 years ago I became a Horse Project 4H Leader and one of the requirements was to watch the video, First Time, Every Time. This video showcases 6 (?) equestrians from the very novice beginner to the extreme expert Equestrian and the only thing they had in common was they all experienced an event where they were 'taken' off their horse. Some died from injuries, some ended up being paralyzed and some had minor injuries. What confronted me the most was none of these were accidents from the horse being crazy, they were stumbles; shies; trips; falls, etc. I hadn't realized our brains are such fragile masses inside a semi-hard shell AND accidents happen. After watching this video I told my husband I would never get on a horse again, without a helmet, that was at least 15 years ago and I have honored my word in the matter. I implore everyone who rides, wear a helmet. I'll say it again another way; I love you, your life and the quality of your life is important to me, we share the love of horses, wear a helmet and encourage those around you to wear a helmet! If you don't, I'll still love you and I'll just think you're a little bit stupid, and I will still love you! I'm also going to post this on our website for our BB&B, I think it's important....xoxo
