This morning, as we were leaving Arrowroot Lodge in the Lake Arrowhead community, we were treated to a pretty incredible sight—three tom turkeys casually crossing the road right in front of us! 🦃🦃🦃

We managed to get them gobbling the first time, but they weren't falling for it a second time. 😄

One of the things we love most about Northern Michigan is the wildlife. From turkeys and deer to eagles and everything in between, you never know what you'll see during your stay.

It's just another reminder to slow down, enjoy the scenery, and appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds us here at Arrowroot Lodge. 🌲☀️

One of our favorite stops in downtown Ga***rd is the Alpine Chocolat Haus! 🍫🍬

Every time we're in town, we have to stock up on Laffy Taffy and chocolate treats. With so many flavors and candies to choose from, it's impossible to leave empty-handed! Our favorite part? Grabbing a mix of different flavors and having a taste test to see which one wins. 😋

If you're visiting Ga***rd, this sweet little stop is a must-add to your itinerary. Trust us—your sweet tooth will thank you! 🍭✨
