New couches for the cabin!!!

The old couches both had hide-a-beds, which I thought would give guests more flexibility with kids. I don't get to stay up at the cabin much since we stay pretty busy but I had a chance to stay a few weeks ago and decided those couches needed to go!

Not at all comfortable to sit on and judging by the lack of use of the hide-a-bed sheets and blankets they were not needed.

We upgraded our old hot tub to a new one!!!I think the jets in the new one are a lot more therapeutic, great for our act...

We upgraded our old hot tub to a new one!!!

I think the jets in the new one are a lot more therapeutic, great for our active guests out ridng motorcycle, off roading, or hiking the Black Hills!!!

Thanks to Rob at the Pool and Spa Center who went out of his way to get the new spa delivered and set up during our busy time. Great working with a business that understands we answer to our guests and worked hard to make a tight delivery time frame work out!!!!

We have guests who were going to be checking in today and checking out Friday morning. With the weather they are not sure they'll make it.

We have been incredibly busy this summer!!! Thank you to all our guests who we've shared our cabin with.

August is pretty full, September has a few days left to choose from.

Don't forget we are open year around. Nothing more beautiful than sitting in hot tub as it lightly snows enjoying the scenery.

Its been an incredibly busy summer at Big Elk Place Cabin!!! Thank you to everyone who came and shared the experience of our cabin.

October is starting to fill up and the winter months are my favorite time to be at the cabin. Make sure to book early as the winter usually fills up too.
