We are open to accept new memberships for the 2021 season. We do have limited availability for the family fishing memberships for $175 plus new member initiation fee of $50 and will be opening up for new primitive campsites this year. We have about 20 facility (water,sewer and electric) camp sites available and about the same for primitive sites aswell. Sites range from $850-$1200. A/C does have a surcharge. All full season camping memberships include fishing ($175 value).

From the Wirth family to your family we would like to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

I wanted to share with you my Christmas gift from my wife and boys. For me this gift meant alot because they see where my heart is at. This is a shadow box that they created with things from or about the Ponderosa. There is alot of symbolism with what they chose to include. The picture was taken earlier in the summer at the farm. It represents not wanting the day to end. The rock was taken from one of the boat landings and it represents the strength to endure the test of time. The barn was handmade by the oldest son and represents a couple things. The willingness to work hard with old fashioned values. This is what I see in this box.

As we come to an end of 2020 we are blessed with the start of a new year and the hope that it will be a great year. Again Merry Christmas.

Congratulations to the 2020 winners of the Neponset American Legion fishing tournament held at the Ponderosa today.

First place- Adam Frank
Second place- George Stone
Third place- Mike Workheiser

This is the inaugural year for this tournament and was definitely a chilly morning for it. The fish hit early and let up after the first hour. For the first year I think the event went well and hope everyone had a great time.
