🌲 The Neskowin Ghost Forest — the remnants of an ancient Sitka spruce forest estimated to be around 2,000 years old, visible on the beach during low tide. It’s one of those Oregon Coast sights that feels almost otherworldly.
❤️ Proposal Rock — the iconic sea stack just offshore has a beautiful local love story behind its name. Legend tells of local sea captain Charley Gage, who proposed to Della Page during a beach outing in the late 1800s. Della’s mother later gave the rock the name we know today.
