Funny how some of us got a dog to guard the house… and now we can’t even leave the house without bringing them. 😂🐾

But can you blame us? Somewhere along the way, they became more than pets. They became family. And every adventure feels a little more complete when they’re there. 💚

So pack their leash, favorite treats, and maybe an extra blanket… your four-legged family member can come along to Inn Town Campground. 🏕️🐶

Because the best memories are the ones we get to make together.

Tag someone whose pup is always part of the travel plans. 🐾

🏛️ Nevada City Stories | Imagine the Stories These Walls Could Tell…

Before it was a place for concerts, celebrations, and community gatherings, the Miners Foundry was part of Nevada City’s bustling mining era.

Its story stretches back to the 1850s, when the sound inside these walls wasn’t music, it was machinery. ⚙️ The Foundry produced equipment for the mines and later became connected to the manufacturing of the famous Pelton Wheel, an innovation that changed the way water power was harnessed.

Fast forward more than 160 years, and the building is still bringing people together . Only now, you’re more likely to hear music, laughter, and applause. 🎶❤️

From industry to community, the Miners Foundry continues to be part of Nevada City’s living history.

Have you ever been inside?

🏛️ A piece of Nevada City history since 1861.

For more than 160 years, Firehouse No. 1 has stood in the heart of Nevada City. Once home to the Nevada Hose Company No. 1, today it remains one of our town’s most recognizable landmarks and a reminder of the community that came before us. ❤️

A little piece of history we’re proud to call ours. 🌲

🏛️ Nevada City Stories | If These Walls Could Talk…

Some buildings are more than just buildings. They hold generations of stories, laughter, music, and memories. 💛

Located at 401 Broad Street, right in the heart of historic downtown Nevada City, the Nevada Theatre has been bringing people together since 1865. 🎭

Just imagine everything these walls have witnessed…

✨ Mark Twain spoke here in 1866 — and returned again in 1868.
🎶 Emma Nevada once performed to a packed house.
🎬 The theatre showed its first motion pictures in 1908.
🤘 And generations later, even Mötley Crüe took the stage.

More than 160 years later, the lights are still coming on, audiences are still gathering, and new memories are still being made.

That’s what we love about Nevada City — the history isn’t just something you read about. It’s something you can still walk into and experience. 🌲

Next time you’re wandering downtown, stop by and take in this special piece of Nevada City history.
