Victorian Christmas is officially here! The most charming small town Christmas experience takes place right here in Nevada City and it starts today, Sunday December 3rd. Downtown will be brimming with craft vendors, carolers in Victorian costume and general holiday cheer! Grab a cup of mulled wine and some freshly roasted chestnuts. We'll see you there!

Did you know our renovated King Suites have room for 4 guests? Whether you're on a trip with friends or traveling with the kids, we can make up one or both of our sectional daybeds for extra guests, making either of our King Suites a super cozy place to bunk up as a group.

Nevada City knows how to get spooky!

If you haven't spent Halloween in Nevada City before, it is truly something to behold. The houses here are decked out in their creepiest and in just a few short days the streets will be crawling with monsters, ghosts and ghoulies! We've got a few rooms left next week so join us for a truly classic small town Halloween experience.

Summer turned very suddenly to fall this week and we are starting to see the first hints of fall colors! This peek back to Nevada City in the late 80's reminds us of the magic of autumn in the Sierra Foothills.

That's a wrap on our open house and yard sale! It was a real proud moment to share all our hard work with our friends and neighbors. Thanks to all of you who stopped by and picked up a treasure or two! We still have many items left so if you saw something online that you must have, shoot us a message. We'll have the remaining stuff available for the next couple weeks. And for those of you who weren't able to come by for the open house but would like to see our renovation progress, please let us know. We'd love to have you by for a tour!
