Sad day at Belle Shores. The big spruce tree by the driveway suffered some storm damage this summer and was very cracked and had to come down today. It looks so empty now. But all cabins are safe!

We are surrounded by amazing people. Neighbors came and helped us get our pontoon flipped over and out of the lake. Thank you so much Pauman family. Resort guests who are here another week helped pick up sticks that were everywhere!! My dear friend who helps me clean had her own damage to deal with but came and helped us clean cabins! Chris and Marshall worked non stop today cutting a tree for Mavis. She had the top of a huge tree fall on her house. And cutting one of our trees that uprooted and helping clean off one of our seasonal guests where a top of a tree barely missed their camper and took out their deck😳. It has been a day but thankful for amazing people in our life and that everyone is ok.

What a 4th of July at the resort😳. This is what 30 seconds of high winds can do! All people, cabins and our house are fine! Everything but the pink paddle boat is accounted for. It flew in the air as high as the flagpole! Last we saw it was almost to goat island floating upside down. Rest in peace pontoon. You were a good pontoon🥲
