Today was a fun day with vendors meeting couples in search of their perfect venue in New Bern, NC. It’s great to see the happy couples touring so many beautiful venues, and meetings lots of vendors. Hopefully they found their dream team across the day.

Our team was at The Jarvis at 220, a great venue with so many features to make your day special. The rooms are decorated beautifully with luxe linens and private bathrooms. The couples cottage is the perfect place to begin the honeymoon with a living room, kitchen, and dreamy master suite (so luxurious!) The cellar is a fun interactive space to use for rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour, and a place to sneak away from loud music and relax. The outdoors has plenty of space for the ceremony, cocktail hour, lounge area, and reception. We all love dancing under the stars!⭐️

If you’re looking for a movie to watch while you’re cozied up with your favorite people or closest friends, you should go watch Deadly Deception on Tubi!!

This film was written and directed by New Bern’s very own D’Aja Fulmore and it is a must watch thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat. The Jarvis was featured in several scenes in the movie and for an added bonus…our very own proprietor and owner, Brandi Strickland, had a role as well as the school secretary!
