A little local secret: the best beach days of summer are still ahead.

By late July and August, Lake Michigan is at its warmest, so it’s easy to relax by the water. After some time at the beach, wander downtown and grab an ice cream cone, then settle in for dinner on the patio as boats make their way back to the marina.
