In the fall we host schools for multi-day adventure field trips. Recently we had The Steward School, who has been coming here for over 25 years. We had so much fun taking them on various activities such as caving, climbing, canoeing, mountain biking, and more. Huge thank you to all the students who came out and tried something new! 🌲

Our Wilderness Leadership Course (WLC) and our 13–14-year-old group have been crushing it on the trails! 🚵🌲

One ride was rainy, the other was sunny, but both were filled with creek crossings, mud, determination, and some of the biggest smiles we've ever seen. These campers have embraced every challenge and made the most of every mile.

Now they're trading bikes for boats as they head into one of our favorite parts of the trip... river days! 🚣🏽‍♀️🌊 We can't wait to see what adventures are next.

Archery is back at WAEL! 🏹

It has been more than a decade (or two) since we last offered an archery program, and we are thrilled to be taking aim once again. Yesterday, our Homestead Adventure campers were the first to test out our brand-new archery equipment and practice their Robin Hood skills.

We were so impressed by their determination, focus, and enthusiasm as they learned the basics and challenged themselves throughout the activity. It was an exciting day on the range, and we can't wait to see their skills continue to grow throughout the summer!
