As everyone's heading out for tonight's Spectacle of Bands Parade, let's celebrate innkeeper James' wins.

His gluten-free double chocolate banana bread earned a blue ribbon. He snagged a second place ribbon with vegan gluten-free ginger molasses cookies, and a third place with ube passion bars. His sewing also earned ribbons including this owl-themed laptop bag, crossbody backpack with owl embroidery, and several others.

Way to go James!

🇺🇸 Flags are coming soon! 🇺🇸

We’re getting ready to spread some patriotic spirit throughout New Holland! Watch for our team as we pass out American flags to help paint the town red, white, and blue for Independence Day.

If you receive flags, we’d love for you to display them proudly! ❤️🤍💙

Let’s celebrate together! 🇺🇸

Your weekend plans are SET, baby: it's Indie Bookstore Day on Saturday, so make sure to stop by Pocket Books!!! We've got so much going on at both locations -- the first 100 customers at each shop will receive a scratch-off ticket, immediately redeemable at our bursting-at-the-seams prize table. Also, every $25 spent equals an entry to win one of our bigger prizes, which include a 6-month Pocket Picks subscription (valued at $150!). We've also got a brand new exclusive candle from Love + Kindness Candles called 'Red Rose City,' available only at Prince St. Of COURSE we have a bunch of IBD goodies, too, including special editions of LAST NIGHT IN BROOKLYN by Xochitl Gonzalez and the irresistible annual IBD tote bag. And as if that weren't enough, we've got tasty treats at Wheatland ALL DAY LONG: Salt & Light Pastry, then Honey Bear, then Extra Rice. Come hang out with us, buy some books, and celebrate why indie bookstores are so beloved!
