We’re excited to announce the next evolution of Sankofa Mansion—one that allows us to better serve our community while preserving the history and heart of this incredible space.

As we transition to a hospitality-focused model, Sankofa Mansion will now specialize in:
🍽️ Reservation-only dining for parties of 7 or more
🎉 Private events
🎊 Bridal & baby showers
💼 Business meetings
⛪ Church luncheons
🎂 Birthday celebrations
🍴 Customized catering

This change helps us make the best use of our dedicated volunteers while creating unforgettable experiences in one of the area’s most historic venues.

Most importantly, every reservation and catered event directly supports the mission of Lost Dreams Awaken Center, helping us preserve this historic property, create workforce development opportunities, and continue investing in programs that strengthen our community.

Join us May 9th from 2–6 PM for an amazing homemade meal and celebrate the mothers in your life 💕

📣 UPDATED HOURS & DAYS AT Sankofa Mansion 📣

Per your request, we are working hard to expand our times and hours so we can enjoy all of you throughout the entire day — serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner — while still being available for special events and private parties.

With that being said, we are temporarily adjusting our hours:

🗓️ Open to the Public
Wednesday – Saturday
⏰ 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

✨ Sundays will now be reserved for special events — be on the lookout for exciting announcements!

🎉 Parties of 10 or more are welcome ANY DAY with an advance reservation.
