On Halloween Night, the New Matamoras Farmers Market is haunting the Aldeco Motel from 4PM–8PM! 👻

🍔🧁 Come hungry! The food trucks will be serving up all kinds of frightfully delicious eats — from sweet treats to grilled cheese melts that’ll make your taste buds scream with joy! 😋👻

When the clock strikes 6:00, the trick-or-treat magic begins — and the motel will be handing out FULL-SIZED candy bars for all the brave little ghouls and goblins who dare to stop by! 🍫🕸️

But beware… 👀
Keep your eyes on the motel roof — whispers say something mysterious might appear once 6:00 arrives… 🦇🌕

🚧 Please note: The Aldeco Motel parking lot will be closed off to vehicles for everyone’s safety — it’ll be transformed into a Trick or Treat zone full of fun, candy, and Halloween spirit! 🎃🚗✨

🛎️ A Little Piece of History in the Valley 🛎️

Tucked along the Ohio River in New Matamoras, the Aldeco Motel has a story deeper than its 13 rooms might suggest.

Back in 1955, when the Aluminum Development Company (ALDECO) — later known as Ormet — began building its massive aluminum plant nearby, the valley was booming with new opportunity. Workers came from all over, and they needed a place to rest their heads.

So this little motel was built — not fancy, but sturdy, clean, and welcoming — a true-blue motor lodge for the hardworking folks shaping the town’s future.

If you’ve ever wondered where our name came from… now you know: AL-DE-CO, the very industry that helped put New Matamoras on the map.

Owned and operated by local families for decades, The Aldeco Motel has quietly stood the test of time — witnessing generations of change in this small river town.

Today, we still welcome travelers, workers, families, and anyone looking for a simple, clean place to stay — with a little piece of history built into the walls.
