🎄 Our First Christmas at Jackson Barracks in over 20 Years Was a Huge Success 🎄

More than 1,500 visitors came out this weekend to celebrate the season with us at Jackson Barracks. The historic homes were lit and decorated beautifully, inside and out.

Local scoop bands and choirs and The 156th Army Band filled the night with Christmas Sounds. Families enjoyed our Christmas Market, Santa’s House, and a full children’s activity area.

Thanks to everyone who brought toys for Operation Christmas Angels. Nearly 500 toys were collected for National Guard families, and a special thank you goes to Saddiq Bey of the New Orleans Pelicans, who made an appearance and donated 200 toys on his own.

The event raised important support for the Louisiana National Guard Foundation and its mission to serve our Soldiers, Airmen, and families.

We are grateful to every sponsor, volunteer, and visitor who helped make our first year unforgettable. We are already looking forward to next Christmas at Jackson Barracks.
