Obeah Guesthouse Guests are able to experience the vibrant madness of New Orleans and escape to a quiet, tranquil setting to rest and refresh.

Obeah Guesthouse is an old-school bed & breakfast providing a variety of experiences to both travelers and locals seeking out cultural engagement through food, drink, and music: the true “Holy Trinity” of New Orleans. Located a quick walk from the French Quarter and Frenchmen street - the heartbeat of the United States, where most of New Orleans’ quintessential jazz clubs are - Obeah Guesthouse is ideally situated in the hip Bywater neighborhood. During your stay at Obeah, you can take a tour of the best restaurants in town, have a cooking class with our award-winning chefs, or just sit on the porch with a ti-punch - our house cocktail - and a plate of creole-fusion cuisine while listening to local jazz and having a conversation with our community of engaged New Orleanians. Obeah’s goal is to create what we call the “anti cruise-ship” experience: intimate, thoughtful, and one of a kind.

Good morning! Please join us today! The goal of today is to raise money to cover some of the legal fees for Camila's brother who is in ICE detention in Florida. There is no set donation, so contribute whatever you can, come and eat, drink, hear some great music, and catch a vibe.

Those who can’t attend and want to contribute please do so via Zelle ([email protected]), Venmo () or Cashapp ($obeahguesthouse). Please put “For Camila”, but I’ll know everything coming in will be passed on to her regardless.

SCHEDULE

4:00 Shrimp boil, Jerk chicken & salad, and rum punch

Every guest that has come through here the past 4 years has had some sort of relationship with with Bubba. He’s been the joyful beating heart of Obeah Guesthouse. Yesterday, at about 6:30, he passed away in my arms, surrounded by Dana and Rob who adore him, with me telling him how much I love him, and thanking him for sharing his life with me over the past 12 years. I hope many of you will remember some shared moments with him and giggle from time to time.

Just a reminder! Hope you can join us.
