Just asking my Facebook friends a question I had a hit-and-run . But even with proof of the hit-and-run incident report the insurance company says because I don’t have uninsured motorist. My insurance is gonna go up which makes everybody’s insurance go up. Just like law suits .. So I decided to buy me a $50 piece of diamond plate sheet metal which is powder coated, and will never dent or scratch off Amazon and cover up my door. I did both doors . I did do a claim with progressive just in case I change my mind or my patch job didn’t come out well, but I’m satisfied with it. . the Adjuster did say it’s perfectly fine to do whatever you want with the money. They said if I take the claim it’s a $12,000 check. . It’s still not too late but my insurance will go up and this is what makes everybody else’s insurance go up along with lawsuits.. ask yourself how would you handle this?
1. Take the quick check & let the body shop repair it. & pay for it in the long run .
2.  take a quick check and keep my $50 lifetime. Jimbo rugged door bomb ass proof patch..
 I can always change my mind. after all the door panel was only $50 and if it does happen again from another wreck, I guess I could buy me another $50  sheet metal. It comes in a roll. You just gotta cut it up and fabricated it. 🔨
