STAR CLIPPER PASSENGERS TO VIEW ST. TORPEZ REGATTA ~

A cruise aboard one of Star Clipper’s classic tall ships is something every sailing and yachting enthesitis should try. Passengers aboard a Star Clipper may watch from the deck as the sailboats cut through the Gulf, spinnakers billowing and crews racing for the finish. The harbor and waterfront become a lively backdrop of color, sails and sea spray — an unforgettable chance to witness top-level sailing amid the glamour of the Côte d’Azur.

This year’s Voiles de Saint-Tropez regatta cruise aboard their flag ship, Royal Clipper, begins on September 26th sailing from Nice with pricing beginning at $2025 per person. In addition to the two days in Saint-Tropez, ports of call include: Lerici, Italy; Portoferraio on the Island of Elba; Ajaccio and Bonifacio on Corsica, France.

August 22 - 23: L'Aoûtienne, Trophée Pourchet

Before the summer closes, the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez hosts its private members' regatta, a tradition that has marked the end of August on the gulf for decades. The racing is serious. The access is not easy to come by. For travelers who want to experience Saint-Tropez from the inside rather than from the port terraces, this is the kind of moment we can open doors to.

September 26 - October 4: Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez

This is the main event: the most prestigious sailing regatta on the Mediterranean, and one of the great spectacles of the European sporting calendar. The 28th edition arrives with particular weight: the return of the legendary Class J yachts, former America's Cup contenders, sharing the water with century-old classics and cutting-edge maxis.

Around 250 boats on the same stretch of water, with the Trophée Rolex, the Club 55 Cup and the Trophée Edmond de Rothschild among the highlights. On shore, the atmosphere is as much a part of the event as the racing itself. This edition also marks 20 years of partnership with Rolex and 150 years of the Rothschild family's maritime legacy: a moment with genuine history behind it.

November 14 - 15: Les Voiles d'Automne

The season's final word. An elite end-of-year regatta that brings the serious sailors back to the gulf one last time before winter. Saint-Tropez in November is quiet, golden, and entirely different from what might be perceived for those willing to travel outside the obvious window, this is the reward.
