We are thrilled to present Tracy Mullen's granddaughter in Baby's First Outing, commemorating her first Easter. Tracy used the same fabric to make a matching bubble and we just love how this outfit turned out. Having attended one of our Tennessee classes, Tracy and I crossed paths again at a Louisiana fabric store, leading to a discussion about the Baby's First Outing pattern. What a small world!

We are pleased to announce that Baby's First Outing and Suzette - A Summer's Day are now available on our website. Daisy is featured modeling Baby's First Outing, a charming short coat and brimmed hat ensemble ideal for your baby's inaugural outing. This sweetly tailored outfit boasts delicate embroidered flowers and bunnies, with the gray bunnies featuring shadow embroidery and fuzzy tails crafted with turkey work. Soft gathers adorn the back of the coat, which has a réplique hem attached with Point de Paris stitch. The neckline and sleeves are elegantly scalloped, and the front-opening coat fastens with tiny loop fastenings for added convenience. The matching hat features a scalloped brim and square crown back, with delicate hand embroidery of lazy daisy flowers and French knot centers. Delicate ribbon ruffles frame the baby's face, while wider silk ribbons secure the hat. This pattern is available in sizes infant to 6 months.

Life Updated from Andrea

I hope this message finds you well and that you had a great start to 2026 following the holidays. Given the considerable developments in my personal life in 2025, I felt it was necessary to share an update. Those familiar with my situation will know that I welcomed a baby girl named Daisy in May. I am currently dividing my time between caring for Daisy full-time and contributing to the operations of Wendy Schoen Sewing Studio. Although Daisy's initial health challenges, including formula intolerance, colic, and acid reflux, have necessitated my full attention, I am now finding my footing. I anticipate being more engaged with the studio and all of you as we move through 2026. If you have any recommendations or ideas for the studio, I would be grateful to hear them. -Andrea❤️
