From Zach.
"From the newly discovered archives of Mecca Shriners. Original Petition of Harry Houdini, “Author, Lecturer, Mystifier”. Initiated on December 29, 1924 and admitted to the Unseen Temple on October 31, 1926. This proves that all written public records have the incorrect date of his initiation into the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine.

Latest single from Bob Dylan gives a shout out to St. Cecile's Brother Houdini at ~15-16m in this opus by the Nobel Laureate that is somehow both timely and timeless.

“A Concert for Widows & Orphans”: This collaboration with Boyer Lodge #1 of Prince Hall was held at Grand Lodge last September 2018. We hope to continue the event as an annual tradition, bringing the Prime Time musical creativity of Boyer & St. Cecile together for the common good, a higher purpose, and in recognition of our sacred duty to Widows & Orphans in the Craft. The musical tribute to Carolina Slim (recently passed), a thrilling trio co-directed by a member of Wynton Marsalis’ big band “Jazz at Lincoln Center”, had the most glorious & soulful swing that any blues enthusiast could possibly desire. For further inquiries about that event and future possibilities, contact W:.Tr:.HB on behalf on the Music Committee.
