🦚 **Honoring Indigenous Peoples Day** 🌄

Today, we honor the cultures, histories, knowledge, and traditions of Indigenous peoples around the world while also calling on more people and orgs to join the fight for their survival, dignity, sovereignty and their lands. Land back to all the indigenous peoples that have been displaced from their communities, forests, cities.

At Ahimsa Travel Club, travel has always been guided by respect and understanding what has happened to the true guardians of the lands that we travel through. Why have they been genocided and erased? That’s why we prioritize Indigenous-led experiences on our tours...creating opportunities to learn directly from Indigenous communities, celebrate their cultural heritage, and support the people who generously share their food, homes, stories, traditions, and wisdom with us.

Most importantly we believe we all have the responsibility to stop the modern day genocides happening in Palestine, Congo, Sudan, and stop indigenous people being ethnically cleansed in places like Kashmir and so many more.

May we continue to travel with humility, honor Indigenous voices, and come back home to fight for indigenous rights and existence.

Mexico City, you were DELICIOUS as always. 🇲🇽💚

Tacos, chile en nogadas, street food, hidden gems, and so many incredible vegan eats. Our Mexico City vegan tour was a whole lot of good food, new discoveries, neighborhood adventures, and “wait, we need to try that too!” moments. 🌮✨

We explored the city one bite at a time, discovered just how creative Mexico’s vegan food scene can be, and made memories with a wonderful group of fellow travelers who love food, art, and history as much as we do.

The shared meals, the laughter, the spontaneous stops, and the friendships that make every Ahimsa Travel Club adventure its own little story. 💜
