Christ and St. Stephen's
120 West 69 Street
NYC

Directed by Kathleen Swan and musical directed by Seth Weinstein, this production will feature cabaret and stage veterans – Craig Pomranz, Vivian Jett, Deb Armelino, Alexandra Cortese, Frank Hankey, Caryn Osofsky, Carla Brandberg, Krystal Adams, Byron Loyd, Paul Mantell as well as Kathleen Swan.

The music was composed in collaboration with several composers who were in the Music Masters program at NYU.

This presentation celebrates the 50th anniversary of ARTC, and will be attended by co-founder by Elizabeth Perry. All profits will go to the Brown Bag Program feeding food challenged people for over 40 years at the church. For a few weeks early in the Covid Emergency, they were the only program operating in the neighborhood. As one long time guest said, “You have no idea what it means to people that you are here every day, when life gets rough.”

CALL FOR WRITERS!
We are seeking to expand our already diverse membership by inviting applications from Indigenous, Black, Latinx, Asian and Pacific Islander playwrights located in the NYC/Tri-state area.
ARTC is a dynamic community of theater professionals. We include actors and directors as well as writers who encompass the full range of gender, age and sexual orientations. We want to extend a welcome to the voices of all writers who believe they would benefit from the supportive process of our weekly workshop. The workshop meets at a midtown New York studio every Tuesday (via Zoom during Covid.)
See in comments below for submission information.

We are so sad to learn of the loss of long-time member, Dick Sabol. As both an actor and playwright in ARTC, he was a big guy, a big presence, and a big talent. We miss him.
