Update! This sweet and beautiful kitty has been placed with a great family and is on his way home to Maryland. Thanks everyone for helping get the word out.

Friends and neighbors: this sweet kitten was found near our church in Fremont, and he is in need of a good home. He loves to be held and cuddled! We estimate he is about 8-10 weeks old. If you are interested in this sweet boy, please leave a comment and we will PM you. Please pass along if you know someone who may be interested. Thank you for your help!

Join the PK Lakes Association this Saturday, August 15, for the 14th Annual Nina's Pirates Treasure Hunt, named in honor of its founder, Nina Fox. This is a family-friendly event for any kind of watercraft open to PKLA members and their guests -- this is not a public event.

Come to Reeds Island on Pickerel Lake at 2 p.m.to pick up a map and navigate the lake to find hidden treasures. Return to Reeds Island by 3:00 p.m.; prizes will be awarded at Reeds Island at beginning at 3:15 p.m.

New this year -- no poker hands but a raffle drawing instead.
