t the state capital - almost 30 miles south of The Owls Nest Inn! Our Bed & Breakfast is located at the end of a cul-du-sac with hundreds of acres of forest to the north and east of our home. Being surrounded by woods will make your stay feel very private and secluded yet it is only a 5 minute drive to downtown Newberg with all its lovely little shops and restaurants. The Owls Nest Inn has over thirty fruit trees and five varieties of berries on the property. There is plenty of open space and grassy lawn for you to walk about, enjoy the views and even indulge in some fresh, sun-ripened fruit. If you are looking for an enchanting place to stay on your next trip out to Oregon, be sure to give The Owls Nest Inn a try. We welcome Children and Small Pets (as long as they are friendly) and are happy to accommodate any special requests you may have if we are able. Hey All,
It's that time again for the wearing of the green and to celebrate happy times at our Annual St. Paddy's Day celebration. The address is 29575 NE Owl's Lane, Newberg, OR 97132.

The day is, of course, March 17, which lands on a Tuesday NEXT WEEK. The party starts around noon and goes until whenever the last guest leaves!

Harold will be serving up his usual yummy stew (simmered in a 7.5 gallon pony keg). Also on the menu is Reuben Sandwiches, which he makes to order; and potato nachos. Yum! Please bring a beverage of your choice.

Nick & Eliza came all the way to us from Pittsburgh, PA, bringing along their 5-year-old son, whose name is Richard. He is a total cutie! They stayed just one night and then were off to see other sights in the area. We were enjoyed meeting them and their little one and are glad they chose us to stay with. 🥹

We're catching up on posting our stays from this summer and autumn. Milla and Richard came to stay with us in early September for a two-night getaway. Friday we had a surprise wedding at the Owl's Nest! A couple called, got their license that afternoon and then drove out so we could help them tie the knot! The groom said he wanted an anniversary date that would be easy to remember (10/10 qualifies). We were surprised and thrilled when he showed up in a kilt, as Harold McKay often does the same. The bride dressed in a lovely baby pink gown. She looked just like a fairy princess! Congrats to Todd & Lisa. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness! 💐

Jeremy & Bre came during August's heatwave this year. They'd spent the day outside, site seeing and had planned to take in the Newberg drive-in, but decided it was too hot! Relaxing in their room with the AC and under a Casablanca fan was the perfect way to end the day!
