The new gift shop is coming along. Thanks Larry! And thanks in advance to all you volunteers who are going to show up on the regular to keep shirts folded and organized, inventory tracked, and shelves dusted and restocked.(Is it still volunteering when Ellen has informed you that you will be volunteering?! :-))

💙🌲 A LITTLE SEASONAL PAUSE AT NORTH STORE in Windy Corners , MI💙🌲

The doors are closed for our seasonal break, and we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU! 🫶🏻

To everyone who stopped in, fueled up, grabbed a coffee, visited with us, rented with us, or supported our little business this season — we appreciate you more than you know!

While the store and our SXS rentals take a break, our cabins remain available year-round! 🏡 So if you’re planning an Upper Peninsula getaway, keep us in mind as your U.P. North home base.

And snowmobile season is on the horizon! ❄️ Snowmobile rental reservations begin now with actual rental start date December 15, so it’s never too early to start planning your winter adventure.

We’ll still be here sharing updates, a little U.P. North spirit, and ways to plan your next visit.

We hope you can stop by on this pretty Sunday morning. It smells like blueberry muffins in here! We will be here until at least 5 PM.

We have biscuits and gravy, egg sandwiches, and frittata on the menu for savory options this morning, as well as the usual sweets. Starting around lunchtime, we'll have whitefish chowder and the sausage cart options. Yum!

The photo is from our trip to the Soo... a cool piece of the day was going through Valley Camp Museum Ship. Highly recommended! More next time...

Sometimes we all need to slow down, take a deep breath, and appreciate the little things.

As we wrap up our final planned open weekend of the season, we’re reflecting on another year of memories and feeling thankful for everyone who has supported our little business. 💜

Today is our last planned day open before our seasonal break. We’re here until 7 PM if you’d like to stop by!
