What a busy summer it has been for us here at Winterhaven in a lot of ways. We have some upcoming information on the several improvements we have been working on over the summer that we will be talking about very shortly.

First and foremost after some paperwork and back and forth we were able to gain full control over the original Winter Haven Motel & Pine Stump Junction Rentals page towards the end of winter. In a effort to better stay on top of everything and maintain maximum reach on the FB platform we jave been suggested to migrate to the more mature account. We are asking everyone who follows the Winterhaven Lodging FB page to make sure to follow the original page tagged in this post. Going forward we will be only using that page in the future and this current Winterhaven lodging will be discontinued. If you are not already following the old Winter Haven Motel page, please do so now as we will continue to use that page only going forward.

🚨 ROAD CLOSURE ALERT: COUNTY ROAD 500 🚨
The Luce County Road Commission has issued a temporary closure of County Road 500, effective immediately.

Recent heavy rainfall combined with significant meltwater from the deep snowpack has led to deteriorating road conditions. For the safety of all travelers, the road will remain closed while crews monitor the situation.

🗺️ DETOUR ROUTE:

Northbound: Take M-123 to CR 407 to CR 414.

Southbound: Take CR 414 to CR 407 to M-123.

We will continue to evaluate the road and will reopen it as soon as conditions allow. We appreciate your patience and cooperation!

Almost time to get some vintage sleds sliding around here. Don't miss the 4th annual Pine Stump vintage snowmobile show coming up March 21st. We still have a few rooms avaliable and some additional room for parking if folks need it for the day. Come on out and join the fun, its sure to be a good time.
