Owner Chef Daniel Lyons is a master chef who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York. Having served a three-year culinary apprenticeship in Switzerland, Chef Daniel specializes in Northern Italian and French cuisine. For special occasions, the talented chef and his skilled team are happy to prepare meals in buffet or plated styles. Dining services can be started with tantalizi

ng appetizers such as assorted potstickers, seafood ceviche, and skewered beef tenders. This course can then be followed by main entrées, including grilled salmon, roast leg of lamb, honey-baked ham, and many more. An array of starch and vegetable-based sides can accompany any dish chosen by the to-be-weds. To ensure that couples are satisfied with their menu selections before their big day, Chef Daniel welcomes them to enjoy a complimentary tasting at his bistro's garden grove.

This morning I was re-organizing my photo gallery, and I came across this pic. It brought back a lot of memories! The year was 1980, I had only been in Southern California for two months and I was working at the Westin South Coast Plaza hotel in Costa Mesa California. I was hired as their banquet chef. The other Chef in the picture with me his name was Larry , He was the executive sous chef at the hotel, my boss! I stayed there for two years, and moved on to the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach as the executive pastry chef. How the years have gone by, I can’t believe how young I was back then, lol!
