A heartfelt thank-you to our Casa de Balboa guests who have reached out following the recent flooding. Your kindness and concern mean so much to us. You are a valued part of our Casa family, and we’re grateful for your support. ❤️

Our 20th Street homes—Casita 216A downstairs and Casita 216B upstairs, each with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths—were unaffected. Our upstairs 3-bedroom, 2-bath homes on 19th Street, Casa 225 and Casa 229, were also unaffected.

We are welcoming guests and taking reservations for all four unaffected homes!

Our ground-floor homes, Casa 223 and Casa 227, experienced some flooding. We’ve set aside the next month for repairs, although we’re hopeful they may be ready in about three weeks. At a minimum, we expect to replace the flooring in the affected downstairs homes.

Casa 231 experienced more flooding and will require further assessment and repairs. While we don’t yet have a confirmed reopening date, we’re working toward welcoming guests back by mid-November.

We’re restoring these homes with care and will reopen as soon as they’re ready. We’ll share updates as repairs progress. Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and for making Casa de Balboa part of your family’s memories. We look forward to welcoming you back!

2026 NEWPORT BEACH CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE. Watch from the comfort from your home away from home! We have a few openings left. We are on the parade route and are clearly the best spot to watch. Don't miss the first night fun and activities on the beach. A few Casa's and one Casita left for Christmas stays (some with the last night of parade available) and New Year's. Let's kick off the start of a great 2027 at the Casa's.

🎄✨ NEWPORT BEACH CHRISTMAS BOAT PARADE — STAY RIGHT ON THE ROUTE! ✨🎄

The 118th Newport Beach Christmas Boat Parade** is coming December 16–20, 2026 — FIVE nights of one of Newport Beach's most magical holiday traditions!

And Casa de Balboa has an amazing location for it. ❤️

🚤 We're early on the parade route, with the boats passing Casa de Balboa at approximately 6:54 PM.

No driving to find a viewing spot.
No hunting for parking.
No fighting the crowds.

Just step outside and watch the parade from the bayfront!

🎆 OPENING NIGHT — DECEMBER 16

🎄 Holiday Market at Marina Park: 4–8 PM
🎆 Fireworks: 6:15 PM
🚤 Parade passes in front at Marina Park: 6:45 PM
✨ Parade reaches Casa de Balboa: approximately 6:54 PM

The FREE Holiday Market includes 35+ local makers, food vendors, live music, entertainment, photo opportunities and activities for the kids.

We still have a few nights available during Boat Parade week!🎅

And we MAY have the final parade night available as part of a Christmas stay. 🎄🏖️

If you've ever wanted to experience Christmas in Newport Beach, this is a wonderful week to do it.

Casa de Balboa — bayfront and right on the Christmas Boat Parade route. ❤️🎄🚤

What is the consensus? Regarding the 4th of July 2027. We are where you want to be. Two beaches but ours is the very best...with the Old Glory Boat Parade passing by, pancake breakfast at the end of beach past the marina. And the fireworks. I saw 5 different fireworks. Our present issue is that 4 of the units on 19th (Casa's) at the bay beach have a check out on Friday 7/02. So we need check-in on that day. We are trying to determine whether to offer 8nts OR 5 nights followed by 3 separate nights to align with the Saturday-to-Saturday check-ins on these units through mid August. The remaining units (Casa 223, Casita's 216A and 216B) should be Friday to Friday through the summer.

8 nights? With check in on a Friday
or
5 nights?check in on a Friday followed by

3 nights
