A great weekend of fishing on the lake. We closed out the trip with an 18” brown trout and this beautiful 28”, 6-1/2 lb laker right outside the house, which is visible in the background. Even with this warm winter there will be ice fishing well into March, and we’ve got openings.

The lake house is booked straight through late September with the exception of 01-15 July, which is right around the corner. We’re offering a 50% discount on lodging over this period. What a perfect spring day on the lake! Sun’s shining and the fish are biting. June’s the peak month for trout and salmon fishing here and we’ve still got openings. A couple weeks in July still open too.

A foot of fresh natural snow fell at Jay over the last 24 hours and 8” at the lake house. Ski & snowmobiling season has begun!

Opening Day at Jay Peak is this Friday! 35-minute drive. Two-foot base as of today and great snowmaking conditions at night. We have lots of openings through the winter but now that there’s snow on they ground they’re starting to fill up. Message us directly anytime to book and avoid Airbnb and VRBO fees.

PERFECT day on the lake! Dead calm and 60 degrees on October 30th. Lots of loons calling. More beautiful weather coming this week. Plenty of openings before the snow and ice set in. Come and stay!

Summer’s all booked but after Labor Day is wide open, including fall foliage season. Early-mid October is usually best locally but there’s someplace in Vermont with peak foliage through the entire month!
