The herring are gone but have left behind their eggs. All the yellowish-white stuff on the pilings is eggs. You can see the birds starting to come in. They scrape the eggs off with their beaks and make a feast out of them.

The herring are running again! The sea lions are going crazy and we have lots of fisherman catching bait.
