The Newport Hojo is pleased to announce our owner Rocky Kempenaar has been named the Grand Marshall of the 66th annual St. Patrick’s day parade! Rocky and his family have owned the Howard Johnson for the last 50 years-besides operating our hotel Rocky is very active and dedicated to the Aquidneck Island community. If you are heading to the parade on Saturday make sure to give him a wave!
