The Newport Seafood and Wine Festival starts in just a few days!! Unfortunately we just had a cancellation, but that means the cabin is available! If you are wanting to come enjoy all the seafood, wine, music, and fun vendor booths at the festival this weekend and need an Aframe cabin to cozy up in for your down time- I know just the place! :) Booking is thru Airbnb or VRBO! We had to meet our Internet company at the cabin for a service call to get it in tip top shape. Our appointment ended up being on a gorgeous day, so after our work was done we stopped to have a late lunch and walked on the docks afterwards. The sea lions were enjoying every second of the warm sun! We stayed to see the sunset because I just can not resist it! 🌅🥰🌊

We came out to the cabin to set up a new king bed in the main bedroom. It was an incredibly beautiful day. We threw the ball for the dog which made her a very happy girl. We had coffee with the sea lions, we walked along the bayfront, and we got to see the gorgeous sunset. Willow didn't care even one bit about the sunset, even as it kept getting better and better. 😁😂❤️🐕🌊🌅

I was just going thru our page, updating photos. It's been a while since I've updated a few, and the changes we've made over the last 7 years are fun to see! Look at these before and afters! Even these before photos were so much better than it was when we got it! These were the first photos we put up when we listed it for rent on Airbnb!

We had to block a couple nights off at the cabin to take care of some maintenance and restocking supplies, deep cleaning, checking on a recent project done by a contractor there, and just show it some love. When we blocked the dates at the end of December, it was so far out that we had no idea what the weather would be. Once it got close enough to start seeing the forecast at that time- it wasn't looking good. But that's how it is on the Oregon coast and I fully expect it. We love the rainy days too! We did not expect this unbelievably incredible weather we ended up getting the entire time we were there!!! We had the best sunsets, the coziest beach fires, such great beach exploration walks, we saw horses on the beach, and our pup had a wonderful time playing fetch in the surf.

We would love to have you and your family come and stay at the cabin in the winter months! You never know if you will get this sunny, warm, and windless weather, or a giant wind and rain storm, or just a lot of drizzle- but either way it can be a lot of fun.
