It’s been a while since the last post. As we get into the busy season, time seems to move even faster!!

We will be celebrating our 100th anniversary this September! Hard to believe how time flies! During this time, we have had 11 presidents stay with us and countless kings and queens! I want to thank them all, past and present. We couldn’t have done it without you!!

It’s been a while since posting! Terri and team put together a very nice Valentine’s Party at the Urban Chick Bar and Bottle Shop. One of our guests won a 12 year Pappy at the bourbon raffle!! There was lots of great food and desserts, and a great time had by all.
A shout out to the guests who have made the trek and stayed with us over a pretty brutal winter! Hoping that we are past it and Spring isn’t too far off!

Happy New Year!!!
A big thank you to 2025 and to all of our guests who made it another fantastic year!!
Our Inn’s Urban Chick Bar and Bottle Shop continues to be discovered by way of private events, including birthdays, engagements, book clubs and meditation, to name a few. We have even had a few nights of live music!
Now welcome 2026, with more to come, including wine clubs and bourbon clubs!!
Like the inn, just a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable place to hangout! Always a puzzle in the making and friendly people to meet!
I tell Terri it’s like a female Cheers bar. Like Cheers, everyone knows your name!
Whether staying at the inn or not, Urban Chick is worth checking out!!
One last thing, this is the slow season and reflected in our low room pricing. Now with Urban Chick as part of your experince, what a fun place to get away during the winter months! Please go to either airbnb or vrbo to make your reservations!

This past Saturday, the inn’s Urban Chick Bar and Bottle shop had its first live music event, featuring Ragland and Raque from Louisville. Two acoustic guitars and old classics filled the air! Thank you Phil, Ron, and Nate for playing for us!
