Bowser's Riverfront Campground

Bowser's Riverfront Campground We are a family Campground located along the Juanita River close to 50 years now.

Attention campers:

UPDATE 04/02/2026 REGARDING WATER:

>Happy Spring! Campground bathrooms and dump station are now open. There is also a water spigot outside the bathrooms for your use.

>Campground water should be on fully by Sunday, April 5th. There are still repairs being made and water may be intermittent at times due to shutting water off to make those repairs.

>Please, NO POWERWASHING EASTER WEEKEND if water is on! I need to watch pressure to be sure we have no hiccups with any unknown leaks.

>Some may notice a new water connection at your site. If this is the case, it is because I had to fix a leak, and in the process moved your main connection/hook up to make it more accessible while also making it easier to disconnect you from the main line for winterizing purposes. Please do NOT hard plumb your site line to the main line or make your main connection inaccessible to me and the campground owners - these are seasonal sites, not your private permanent residence.

Some general reminders:

>No power washing (or running hoses for long periods of time) after 4pm Friday afternoons until AFTER Sundays at noontime. People want to use water when they come to camp, and you take all the pressure out of the lines essentially shutting everyone else's water off when you power wash or run hoses.

>No swimming pools are permitted in the campground other than the small, hard plastic baby pools.

>Contact Mandy ASAP if a leak is suspected. Remember, if we get a high water bill from an unreported leak then that could in turn raise our lot rent!

>Water line maintenance fee is $10 for the season, per lot with water connection.

Happy spring, happy Easter, and happy camping! πŸ‡πŸŒ·πŸ£

Attention campers:

UPDATE 11/23/2025 REGARDING CAMPGROUND RESTROOMS & DUMP STATION:

>'Tis the season! The bathrooms and dump station will be shut down Wednesday, November 26th until spring.

>Please do NOT open water spigot or otherwise mess with the campground water lines until water is back on in the spring. They will be pressurized with antifreeze and you are wasting antifreeze when you open spigots or lines up!

>There is an outhouse for camper use at the downstream end of the campground by the dead-end turnaround should you choose to stop in over the winter. Please be respectful of this privilege and do not make a mess of it. Also recommended to take TP with you if using it.

>If you have not already done so, you will want to winterize your campers this week! Nighttime temps beginning Turkey Day will be in the 20s for multiple nights in a row....

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and see ya'll in the spring! πŸ¦ƒπŸŽ…πŸΎ

Attention campers:

UPDATE 11/09/2025 REGARDING CAMPGROUND RESTROOMS & DUMP STATION:

>Other than the low of 28 predicted Monday night (11/10/25 πŸ₯Ά) the decision has been made to leave the restrooms and dump station OPEN for another week or so - weather-contingent, as always. I will post again when the time comes that we are forced to winterize the bathrooms and dump station.

>Please remember to treat the restrooms the way you would your own and not make a mess.

>I suggest taking your own TP with you as well to be safe rather than sorry in case what was supplied grows legs and takes off again.

>There is a clean water spigot outside the restroom should you need potable water for anything.

Attention campers:

UPDATE 11/04/2025 REGARDING CAMPGROUND WATER for the remainder of 2025 season:

>Water shut off for season: Unless something changes with the forecast, water lines will be shut down this weekend.

>With the look of next week's temps (28 Monday night πŸ₯Ά), if you have not already done so, I HIGHLY recommend winterizing your camper or cabin by Sunday afternoon! If you need assistance with this let me know and I'll do what I can to help!

>Water service will definitely be intermittent this week due to various maintenance and repairs that need finished up prior to winterizing

>To those that have already paid the $10 water line maintenance fee - thank you! For those that owe yet for this year and/or also owe for the prior year yet - Please come find me next time you are at camp to take care of this, or feel free to message or call me if you have any questions. I do have records so know who did already pay and still owes, if you are unsure just ask!

10/16/25 - Attention campers:

A few items regarding the Campground Water for the remainder of 2025 season:

>Water shut off for season: I am monitoring weather and temps closely for Newton via weather Channel app. When I see 2 to 3 nights in a row of 32 - 34 degree temps I will shut the water down for the season. As of now it looks like we may be good til the end of October at least, but no guarantees with mother nature

>Water service may be intermittent after Oct 19th due to various maintenance and repairs that need to be completed prior to winterizing

>There are quite a few campers I have yet to collect the $10 water line maintenance fee from this year. Some also owe for the prior year yet as well. Please come find me next time you are at camp to take care of this, or feel free to message or call me if you have any questions. I do have records so know who did already pay and still owes, if you are unsure just ask!
