It is with great sadness we announce the passing of 4th Generation Hilton potter, Boyd Robert Hilton.

Boyd Robert Hilton, (commonly known as BR or Bob),of Newton, NC passed away peacefully at Frye Regional Medical Center on January 8th, 2026 at the age of 76 from complications from the flu that progressed over the recent weeks.

The family will post details about memorial services in the coming weeks.

We’d like to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving! As you start to make your Christmas Shopping lists, don’t forget we will be open Saturdays in December from 10am - 4pm with a limited number of pieces by BR Hilton, Sybil Hedspeth, and Heather Hilton.

We will also have a selection of pieces from BR’s personal collection available featuring painted pieces from Judy Petrie, Heritage Hilton potters,, Boyd Hilton, John Hilton, Sandy Cole, Joe Rinehardt, and others.

We are happy to share that the Hilton Homeplace will be open for sales this year each Saturday in December from 10am to 4pm. There will be a limited number of pieces available for purchase from BR Hilton, Sybil Hedspeth, and Heather Hilton. The Hilton Homeplace Cookbook will also be available in select quantities.

In addition, there will also be items available from BR’s personal collection featuring painted pieces from Judy Petrie, heritage Hilton pieces, items from Boyd Hilton, John Hilton, Sandy Cole, Joe Rinehardt, and others. We’d love to see you this Holiday!
