Overlooking its very own 17 acre island in the Susquehanna River (1 mile east of Tioga Downs Casino, 1 minute off Interstate 86/17 on the NY/ PA border) is the Fainting Goat Island Inn. The proximity of Tioga Downs, the wineries, Tioga Country Club, and a gathering of small towns makes this an excellent location for a fun, relaxing stay at a unique place..... a step back in time. Ther

e are 4 large bedrooms with private baths and period furnishings, including old-time phonographs in each room. All rooms also have the usual amenities such as television, coffee maker, and wireless internet. Step outside for a walk around the ample grounds and enjoy the gardens and its many perennials. Bring a book and sit by the river, watch the deer on the island, the ducks on the water, the eagles, and the Pyrenees Mountain dogs. Don't forget to check out the Fainting Goats!! Check in: between 4 and 6pm
